I know that collectively we've culturally moved past the "put a bird on it" (maybe? mostly?).  But, January has been full of birds. Maybe these guys didn't get that message.

A beautiful sunset walking home early after leaving the dentist.  So happy that I decided to walk (at least part of the way) instead of taking the bus.

The day after Jonas. In all NYC got 26.8 inches of snow.  I am happy that I don't have a car to dig out.

These ducks will follow you around the edges of the water looking for snacks.

Another hotel selfie.

Hotel selfie.  A new room can inspire and hotel rooms are all different and at the same time so much the same.

The colors of rush hour traffic are much prettier than than the traffic itself.

This is an old set of images but i wanted to try this processing technique that i was reading about. You pull one of the channel out of 3 different images and then merge them into a new one. Anywhere that doesn't overlay perfectly shows up in funky color. In this one I like that the water drops are different and the movement in the shower and also in the shadow on the wall that add color to this otherwise colorless image.

It's really feeling like winter and snuggly slippers are essential.

I'm tackling this 365 business for another year. Last year was 365-ish.  But, shooting most days, or some days is still better than no days. If I had stopped then I wouldn't have made the advancement in skills and in finding my artistic voice that I have. So, although I am imperfect, I am not stopping. For 2016 I choose to stop stopping, to try to understand my fears and have the courage to forge ahead on my own path. Onward to another year of adventure!
